Cricket betting at 600 job — place bets on the best markets from BPL to T20
Whether it is a Bangladesh Tigers match or a BPL night game — 600 job offers markets ranging from match winner to top batsman. Read in plain English how to get started, how each market works, and what makes live in-play betting different.
Cricket Formats and Tournaments
The three main cricket formats — T20, ODI and Test — each have different betting types. Understanding the format makes it much easier to choose the right market.
T20 — The Fast Game
Results shift quickly in 20-over cricket. BPL, IPL and T20 World Cup are the major events in this format. Small score differences can change the match result, which is why over-by-over markets are especially popular.
ODI — The 50-Over Contest
50-over matches in ICC ODI series and World Cups are more strategic. A team's top-order batsmen and powerplay overs influence betting decisions.
Test — The Five-Day Challenge
In Test cricket a draw is a genuine result, so markets have three outcomes. Odds can shift based on the pitch report, weather and the state of the innings.
BPL and International Series
Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and the Bangladesh Tigers' international series attract the most interest from local fans. 600 job offers multiple markets for matches in these tournaments.
Betting on Football and Other Sports
Alongside cricket, 600 job also offers betting on football, tennis and other international sports. Football matches last longer and goals are the main focus — markets like over/under 2.5 goals are particularly well known there. The key difference in cricket is that runs, wickets and overs combine to create a much wider variety of markets, giving a different experience compared to football.
Before you start betting, it is worth reading the responsible gaming guidelines — betting is for entertainment, not a source of income.
Quick comparison by format
| Sport | Possible outcomes | Notable markets |
|---|---|---|
| T20 Cricket | 2 (win/loss) | Over runs, wickets |
| Test Cricket | 3 (win/draw/loss) | Innings runs, series |
| Football | 3 (win/draw/loss) | Goals, half-time |
| Tennis | 2 (win/loss) | Sets, games |
5 markets that are used the most
There are many markets in cricket betting — but it is best to start by understanding a few of them, especially for newcomers.
Match Winner
The most straightforward market — pick which team will win. Two outcomes in T20, three in Test (including draw). For example, if Team A has higher odds than Team B, Team A is considered the underdog.
Toss Winner
A bet on which team will win the toss before the match starts. This is not related to the match result — only the toss outcome counts.
Top Batsman
A market on who will score the most runs in an innings. Odds can be higher in this market because one batsman must finish ahead of all others.
Total Runs Over/Under
You choose whether the runs scored in a match or innings will be more (over) or fewer (under) than a set number. This market is especially common in T20.
First Over Runs
A bet on how many runs will be scored in the first over of the match. Results come quickly and decisions can be made based on the live situation.
Multi Bet (Parlay)
Results from several matches are combined into a single bet. If all selections are correct the return is higher, but if any one is wrong the entire bet is lost. A detailed example is given on the 600 job Bet page.
Top Bowler
A market on which bowler will take the most wickets — pace or spin, pitch conditions and the batting lineup all need to be considered.
How to read and understand odds
The same odds can be written in three different formats. See the table below and understand each with a worked example.
| Format | Format | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 2.50 | Total return = stake × odds. On a ৳1 bet you get back ৳2.50. |
| Fractional | 3/2 | ৳3 profit for every ৳2 staked. The original stake is returned separately. |
| American | +150 | Plus means profit on 100. +150 means ৳150 profit on a ৳100 bet. |
| American (Favourite) | -125 | Minus means how much you must bet to win 100. -125 means you bet ৳125 to win ৳100. |
Keep in mind
- The stake is included in decimal format returns.
- In fractional format the stake must be added separately.
- American plus means underdog, minus means favourite.
- All three formats represent the same odds — only the way they are expressed differs.
Example 1 — Underdog bet (Team A)
Team A wins — Decimal 2.50 = Fractional 3/2 = American +150. On a ৳500 bet, if you win you get back ৳1,250 in total (৳750 profit + ৳500 stake); if you lose, ৳500 is gone.
Example 2 — Favourite bet (Team B)
Team B wins — Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American -125 (minus odds means how much you must bet to win 100). On a ৳500 bet you get back ৳900 in total (৳400 profit).
Odds change as wickets fall and overs progress
Live in-play betting means placing bets in real time while the match is going on. It differs from pre-match betting because odds update after every ball, every wicket and every run.
When a wicket falls
If an important batsman is dismissed, the odds for that team to win increase and the odds for the opposition decrease. New bets can be placed at that moment.
As overs progress
If the run rate rises in the death overs or the required run rate gets very high, odds change quickly — the live market reflects this instantly.
Weather and breaks
When play is interrupted by rain or the pitch is covered, markets are often suspended temporarily. Once conditions return to normal, markets reopen with new odds.
Next Over Market
How many runs will be scored in the next over, or whether a wicket will fall — these short markets give quick results during a live match.
Practical tips for cricket betting
Betting is one form of entertainment. Keeping the following points in mind helps make the experience more organised.
Start with one format
T20, ODI or Test — if you understand the pace of one format well, it is much easier to choose the right market for it.
Keep fewer selections in a multi bet
The more selections you add to a multi bet, the lower the chance that all of them will be correct. It is better to start with 3–4 selections.
Set a budget in advance
Decide how much you will bet before each wager and stick to it. Avoid placing large bets to recover after a loss.
No rushing in live betting
In-play markets change fast — make decisions based on the situation, not on impulse. Waiting a little can sometimes give better odds.
Compare odds
Look at how odds are set across different markets for the same match. Alongside match winner, the toss or top batsman market can sometimes offer better value.
